Farmers Protest in Westminster: A Stand not just againstTax Changes

Published on 12 December 2024 at 00:03

Today, farmers from across the UK descended on Westminster in a powerful demonstration against the Labour government's recent changes to inheritance tax and other concerns. The protest, organised by Kent Fairness for Farmers and Save British Farming, saw tractors lining up on Whitehall from  10 AM, with speeches at noon and a slow drive around central London around 12:45 PM.

The farmers were rallying against the new inheritance tax rules announced in last month's Budget, which will see farms with assets over £1 million lose their longstanding exemption to inheritance tax. This change has sparked fury in rural communities, with many farmers arguing that it poses an existential threat to their livelihoods.

The protest, dubbed "RIP British Farming", has drawn significant attention. The farmers are not only voicing their concerns but also threatening to hold back supplies to highlight the importance of their industry.

The atmosphere in Westminster is charged, with tractors adorned with banners bearing slogans like "Back British Farmers" and "Food Security is National Security". The farmers' message is clear: they are fighting for their future and the future of British farming.

As the protest continues, it remains to be seen how the government will respond to the farmers' demands. The outcome of this demonstration could have significant implications for the agricultural sector and the broader political landscape.

Without a doubt, the farmers have a plan of action, and they hope to keep the specifics under wraps so as not to give the authorities too much information. They have the support of most people, and I think they could play a significant role in changing the way we are governed. Since we are a uniparty state, switching political parties won't work; instead, we must fundamentally alter the way we are now run. As we work to establish a society that is not governed by the Globalists, I will be supporting their efforts. All it takes to recognise that we are running out of time is to read my blog post about Bill Gates' patents.
